We take care of our employees
In 2016, GESIS introduced a company health management system (BGM) with the aim of reducing employee stress and strengthening personal strengths. The aim is to promote the health and motivation of employees in the long term through good working conditions and a high quality of life.
For us, health management is more than just occupational safety and ergonomics. It is about the needs-based design of working conditions as a whole. In this way, we want to meet the increasing demands of a more complex, digital and challenging working world while at the same time changing individual lifestyles.
Measures (which have since been developed in various places at GESIS):
- University sports cooperation in Cologne and Mannheim
- Anonymous and free psychosocial counseling
- Training courses, e.g. on leadership, self-care and health topics
- Leadership mission statement
- Management development program
- Company agreement against sexualized harassment
- Guideline on dealing with the blurring of boundaries between work and private life through flexible working in terms of location and time
