PIAAC participants were provided with various information materials, including a participant website, print material, such as a flyer and a study brochure, and a short informational video about PIAAC and their participation. Furthermore, on the website participants could find a brief summary of information on the study and the PIAAC cover letter in six languages (Arabic, English, Polish, Romanian, Russian, and Turkish).
