MISSY (Microdata Information System) is an online service that provides structured metadata for official statistics. MISSY is part of the service infrastructure of the German Microdata Lab and addresses (social-) scientists working with official microdata. As a central source of structured documentation MISSY reduces the individual effort in data exploration and preparation. The service includes metadata at the study and variable level as well as reports and tools for data handling and analysis. All documentation in MISSY refers to microdata available for scientific purposes.
