PIAAC Germany Reports (GESIS)

The national report (Waxmann) contains the results of PIAAC 2012 from a German perspective. A summary of results is available in German (3.5 MB) and English (2.8 MB).
In PIAAC migration report (printed by Waxmann) contains the results with a focus on the population with a migration background in Germany and internationally.
In the CILL results report (only in German) you will find the results focusing on the population of older age in Germany.

Additional PIAAC Material

Under task examples selected tasks to measure different competence domains in Germany are presented.
Literacy, Numeracy and Problem Solving in Technology-Rich Environments: Framework for the OECD Survey of Adult Skills contains the theoretical background to the competency scales for Cycle 1.
The Assessment Frameworks for Cycle 2 of the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies provide an essential background for understanding the skills assessed by the PIAAC assessment and for interpreting the results of the study.
