The Research Data Center (RDC) International Survey Programs provides researchers with data, services, and consultation on a number of important international study series which are under intensive curation by GESIS.
International survey programs open up a broad range of topics in attitude and behavioural research. However, the data collected has its own level of complexity due to the particular requirement of comparability across national borders, cultures and time horizons. The RDC "International Survey Programs" offers secondary users easy and, as far as possible, uniform access as well as targeted offers of knowledge transfer and advice in order to promote analyses of the best possible quality.
The Research Data Center (RDC) International Survey Programs provides researchers with data access and consultation services on important international study series which are under intensive curation by GESIS.
Prominent survey series are the annually collected International Social Survey Programme (ISSP), the European Values Study (EVS) with a nine-year schedule, the primary data of the European Commission’s Eurobarometer program with currently up to eight large surveys per year, the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) and the European Election Studies (EES / PIREDEU).
