Join us for the 2024 edition of our Summer School in Survey Methodology for a one-week course in Cologne. This year, we are offering introductory courses on questionnaire design, survey design, and small area estimation. You can also enhance your skills in designing and implementing web surveys. Or perhaps you are interested in factorial survey design or survey sampling and weighting, or in learning more about collecting and analyzing “big data” or about causal inference using survey data.
Our online course offers a virtual excursion into the world of multiple imputation, thus completing the program of week-long courses for this year.
During the 12 hours of our online short courses, you can learn the basics of Stata, discover more about questionnaires for cross-cultural surveys, or enhance your knowledge of mixed-mode surveys or DAGs. You are also welcome to join us in Cologne for a two-day introductory course on R.
We have been organizing a Summer School in Survey Methodology since 2012. Before the pandemic, all courses took place at GESIS in Cologne, Germany. In 2020, we added online learning opportunities to our program. Thus, lecturers and participants from all over the world and from many different fields can join us in Cologne or meet online to take part in Europe's leading summer school on survey methodology, research design, and data collection.
