GESIS is the largest European infrastructure institution for the social sciences. The institute provides research-based services relating to research data. It of greatest importance to GESIS that the data it collects and provides as well as the services offered are of high quality. That is why our work is based on the Open Science concept, FAIR principles are implemented as far as possible, and access to data and services is user-friendly. GESIS is a member of the Leibniz Association, embedded in national and international research networks and maintains extensive cooperations with numerous universities.
Our six scientific departments are supported by three infrastructure departments: IT Infrastructure and Services, Administration and Knowledge Exchange and Outreach. Together, they ensure that the engine at GESIS always keeps running.
